greme is on a distinguished road
96 5.7 vortec stalling?

i have a 96 3500, 350/auto. the truck just shuts off periodically while driving.
sometimes it starts right back up, but other times it takes a while.
it has dual tanks, but i abandoned the rear tank b/c the filler pipe was rotted out . the fuel gauage only read 1/2 when i fill up the front tank, but the needle flutters, back and forth real fast. i have a feeling it has something to do with the fuel pump/gauge. any thoughts?

I know this is an old thread, but what happened? Seems like a fuel pump to me... why did I never see this? huh.

I have actually tried, I have sent PM's to certain ones for answers to threads that would help myself and others with future problems.... I figure that PM's will send and email to their personal account and might get them back. Does not always work though.... And you know, now that MUD is a MOD, we have to keep him busy somehow...hehehhe j/k

just make sure the user is still somewhat active before you start raising threads from the dead.
