Idle issue

Alright, got a weird one for you all. I have a 95 Chevy K1500 with the 5.7. A few weeks ago I recharged the A/C and changed the oil....that's it. After I was done, I went down and filled the gas tank, 20 gals out of 26 gal tank. Every since then, I have had some sluggish acceleration, loping idle, and it will stall alot only at stop lights. It seems to act alright when at a cruising speed, but lacks some power during the accel. I spent a small fortune trying to figure out this problem so far. Replaced the plugs and wires, cap and rotor, rebuilt the TBI and chemically cleaned the injectors, replaced the fuel filter, replaced the Idle Air control valve. With all of this, still no luck. One person at the local Auto Zone said he has been hearing this alot lately, starting the same weekend mine did. So I siphoned the remaining 18 gals out of the tank, went to a different store down the highway and refilled, put in 24 gals (so there was still roughly 2 in the tank). I have noticed it is accelerating normally now, which a plus, but when I start it up for the first time in the morning, unless I am ready to give it some gas, it will die. Occasionally now it will stall at the stop lights, but not as frequently.
Any ideas on what step I should take next? I am getting very frustrated with this whole thing because my truck has never acted up like this before.

Many guys have hed dirty EGr valves. Cleaning them returned the vehicle back to normal operation. Worth a look at least.

How exactly do I go about cleaning the EGR? I checked it for normal op, it was a little hard to push, but it moved freely, so I figured that it is alright.

I have a 95 k1500 also, BUT with a custom built 5.7. I had a very similar problem, missing thru the driving range, won't idle weak. I replaced every electrical part on that motor, everything. I don't have an EGR, this is a great place to start. Invest in a manual it has tip on how to test parts before you buy them new. I thought differently since my motor was not stock. I had an injector driver in the ECM go bad, causing 4 cyls to run rich and 4 to run lean, so did a lot of 95 k1500 trucks. I spent well over $300 before I made a long distance call from Memphis to Seattle and a cert mechanic said " You need an ECM". An EGR should move easily not hard.

For info, I put a fuel pressure gauge on my truck, found out I had about 5 psi. My truck should have between 9 and 13 psi. Now I am going to drive the gas out of it before I attempt to lower the tank down to check the pump and sock.

you can take the egr off, put some carb clean in it, and scrub it w/ a wire brush.
as far as the fuel, that sounds like a good direction to go.. you may have gotten contaminated gasoline, even draining the tank, u would have some residual contaminent that you couldnt get out all at once
