Exclamation Looking for wheels...

I was wondering if anyone had some old style steel rally wheels. I have 1996 chevy Silverado 2wd with 5-lug 15" rims. I have an excellent set of aluminum rims on it right now with about 90% tread left on the tires. The only reason I want the old style rally wheels is strictly because I like the looks of them better. When I say "rally wheels", I'm talking about the gray, steel wheels with the chrome outer trim and the chrome hubcaps. I don't care if they are GMC or Chevy hubcaps.

Anyways... I am interested in a trade or a cheap sale. Preferabley someone within driving distance.

I'm surprised you have the 15s on a 96, they were really pushing the 16s by then.
Maybe hunt the 93 and older in the yards to get those.

Exclamation No...

All the 2 wheel drive silverados have 15 inch wheels from 88-99. All of the 4 wheel drives have 16 inch wheels.

i got a set with the rubbers still on them but no chrome rings and the caps say 4x4 on them. been sittin' in the shed for a couple of years. make an offer and they're yours. i'll get pics tomorrow if your interested. i live near flushing, 48433 area code.

seeing your around 100 miles away i'll let you have them for 10 bucks a tire considering the price of gas, consider it a forum discount.

i left them full size for your benefit, so you'll have to click the links to view them. one of the caps is missing, i vaguely remember it turning into a high speed projectile while driving to work. these are the only pics i could take before the camera died, so let me know if you want a different angle of them. they are a little rusty where the beauty ring snaps on the rim, those also became projectiles due to rusted clips. you should be able to find some rings at auto zone or walmart i believe.

i got a pair of snow tires for you hayden if you are interested, they are for a 14 inch rim. they were only used one winter, then i sold the truck they went to. sister is doing good, not getting along with the future inlaws as well as she used to.

Exclamation mudseeker...

Thanks but no thanks . I am looking for the solid steel wheels. Not those kind with the holes. But I do appreciate the thought and effort.
