| sounds like you may have a fuel pump issue.

| OK I got in it today and tried to crank it starts and quits right away. It has 60 psi fuel pressure and drops to 58 when it cranks. Its like you turn the key off I also held the key on when it cranked keeping starter engaged but it still quits. Its crazy because the other day it did not have spark at all. The crankshaft sensor went out about 6 months ago with the same symptoms. It has fuel and fire until it cranks then it quits. The coil is good the module is good the pump is brand new all thats left is? |

| have you checked your fuel filter? if it is similar to my 1991 there is a coffee can sized inline filter along the frame rail near the fuel tank, not difficult to change. also check to see if it has an evaporation condenser on top of the tank, this can fill with water and cause similar problems. |

| Oil gauge not working ? That could tell the problem - check the plug for the oil sender. If the computer thinks there is no oil it will shut off. Your run time may just be burning the gas already there. What year is this ? |

| yes, it sounds like you may have a bad oil sending unit. Remove the sending unit and put an oil pressure tester in it's place. turn over the engine ( it does not have to start ) several consecutive times to see if you have pressure. If so, replace the sending unit. If not, then you may have a bad oil pump.
