| Are you asking about a "body lift" vs a suspenson lift? A quality suspension lift that is properly engineered to maintain factory steering geometry and driveline angles will be your best bet. How much you spend is up to you. This is a case where you get what you pay for. Spend a little expect little in return. |

| ditto^^^. suspension lifts that are installed correctly are much better than body lifts.

| I haven't had either, but I think you guys need to start explaining yourselves a little more. The body lift just lifts the body up off of the frame higher. A suspension lift lifts the whole frame up higher, instead of just the body. |

| It depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your lift kit. If all you want to do is fit some bigger tires under the truck, but don't really have the desire to go off road, you should go with a body lift, just because its cheaper. However, with a suspension lift, you not only get more clearance under the body and wheel wells, you get more clearance under the drive-train, steering assembly, and exhaust... basically the entire truck gets lifted off the ground except for the axles, and brake assemblies. The suspension lift rout will be a little pricier, but will allow harsher traveling conditions without expensive damage to vital parts like the engine, transmission, drive-shaft, and exhaust. Hope this helps |
