Location of ESC connector 1987 V10

Can anyone tell me where the electronic spark control connector is located? I just did head gaskets on my 1987 fullsize 4x4 (4.3 throttle body) . To set the timing it says to first disconnect the esc connector (tan wire black stripe) but I have been unable to locate. Where oh wrere did they hide it?

it is either on the right side of the engine compartment over by the evap core / blower motor, or inside the cab behind the glove box.

tdyer is on a distinguished road
Did you find it? I needed to add a connector on my 1994 305, because it wasn't there. I followed the book and then some, including having a mechanic friend on the phone, while I looked. On mine, it was supposed to be behind or near the junction block cover on the passenger side (on the firewall). A simple crimp connector will work.
