smoke

my silverado has a smoke problem when im driven a push it down to the floor when it drops into a low gear it blows a grayish black smoke for a bout a second. i think it is carbon build up any solutions.

it depends on how often u go balls out. When I 1st bought my 00 4.8 Silv on the drive home it was spittin its guts out.. (older folks had it be4 me haha go figure) but if u dont do balls out so often its just carbon in the muffler. I personally didnt like my stock setup just cuz it felt sluggish. But its not a big problem

could be carbon build up or excess fuel when at wot (wide open throttle) either way I would not be concerned unless it gets worse.
