| Parking Brake cable popped? Anyone ever had their parking brake cable snap? I pulled to release the brake and the lever pulled off and a foot or so of cable came with it. Any advice on where to start on this one? |

| i've had that happen in my ford. the cable for the handle broke. had to buy a new handle assembly. What year truck is it on? is it just the release cable or the actual parking brake cable?

| It's a '92 Silverado. It appears to just be the release cable. I'm trying to trace it back to the point of snappage. |

Seriously, would be a good time to check the rest of the cables in the system. They are all the same age and used together. | |
