another water leak question

I have a 97 blazer, It's leaking from somewhere near the top of the motor not sure where. to much stuff up there to really see anything. It does not look as if it is comming from the water pump. I can not see exactly were it is comming from though. I seen the slight drip this past weekend and has not been drove since. Tonight I noticed that it is still dripping. I opened the radiator cap and the radiator is full and the resivor is at normal level. Why would it still be dripping? with no presure on the system or is there something bad wrong. When driving it operates at regular temp, does not smoke, no water in oil. Any sugestions?

Thanks in advance
Tim

Dry it off and go hunting with a flash light.
Could use pressure checker or inspect while running but dry it off first to make it easier to spot.
You might want to check hose coming from heater first. Is this front or rear of engine ?
Is it pooling on top or just running down one of the sides?
If it's not your daily driver, you could park on a steep hill, and dry it then, to prejudice which way the leak runs off.
Approach depends on time, skill, and tools.
Is this the 350 you were looking to replace the t-stat on back in August ?

No sir it's a v6 blazer. A while back you could hear water sloshing inside the truck near the heater core which I thought was weird. I can see some water what that is sitting around the intake at the front of the engine but looks like it is just settling there I do think its actually comming from the back of the engine. but can not see exactly where it is comming from. When you mention skill and tools that just about knocks me out of it. (lol) I will investigate this evening.
Thanks crabtruck
