| 2001 s-10 blower motor switch blower motor only runs on hi, any ideas? switch or reostat? where is reostat located? any help appreciated. thanks |

| sounds like resistor to me. should be located behind the glovebox somewhere. |

| your right it would be a resistor, probably 3 of them. wouldnt they get to hot to be behind the glovebox somewhere. does anyone know exact location? thanks jb |

| The "resistor" is actual a unit of a couple resistors together. The heat is not a big problem for it in that location, though common part to fail. Take a look with light under the dash for wires coming from blower and follow them. May have to remove glove box to see, forget on your truck. Another cheap test while you're in there is to switch the relays and see what happens. |
