| air gurling i have read through alot of these forums in the past, but have never registered to ask questions until now. i have a 2001 6.0 2500 4x4 crew cab. one problem that has been bothering me is an air gurling sound when my truck begins to come under some stress - (heading up a small hill before kicking into overdrive). i thought that it sounded like the engine was being starved for air and had read in one of your sites saying that you could cut slots in the bottom of your air box and ad a k&n air filter to improve your air intake. the truck does seem to perform a little better - mabey all in my head, but now that its drawing in more air the noise is even worse. where is the noise coming from-why-and how can i fix it? thanks alot for help |
