 |  1998 chevy z71 truck i just installed a new engine in my truck, the engine will spin and has fire but wont crank please help. its a 5.7 vortec engine |

 | Welcome to the site: How does this engine mix air, and fuel? Injection, or does a carb do the mixing? What style ignition system are you running? Is the Dizzy installed correctly? Who installed the cam, and timing chain? Who adjusted the valves? Does it fire when you manually introduce fuel into the intake? |

| did you make sure you had everything tdc before installing the dizzy? and did you make sure the dizzy was on #1 if not it will not fire at all
