Fuel Mileage Help

I have an 06 Silverado with the small V8. I only get 15 mpg with this truck. I came out of a Ford that got 18. Anyone know a way to get better fuel mileage out of this truck?

Did your previous truck have those big tires and wheels? Rolling resistance is murder on mileage.
