| Doorlocks What tells the doorlocks in my truck to unlock when i put it in park? This started a couple of days ago. Its no big deal just a minor inconveniance. I have a 99 silverado z-71 |

| do they no longer unlock when in park? not sure what controls that particular action. |

| Thats correct. I can put my truck in drive and about 20 mph they lock and when get to where im goin and put my truck in park they should automatically unlock. I have to manually unlock em now. Just wondering if anybody knew what controlled that |

| Usually the directions which might involve some combo of setting the overhead light switch and pushing the lock button when the key is first turned on are printed in the glove box owner manual. I always disable that kind of feature due to the neighborhoods I sometimes am in - too dangerous. Quick call to the dealer will probably give you the instuctions, unless of course, it's gone bad. |
