Emergency! Need firing order ASAP!!!!

1993 Silverado 1500 5.7

I need to get the truck going again fast. I changed the cap and rotor and (as I always do whenever I do this) I mixed up the wires. From what I've found on here, the firing order should be 18436572.

I tried this clockwise and it cranked, then sputtered for a second (and dome light dimmed, then cranked, then repeated.
Counterclockwise, it cranks and almost starts.

Does it matter where I start on the cap? I can't get the wires in this order on the cap without stretching them, no matter where I start. Like it's not where they were before.

Save me!

ok you have the right order... Try this. Cyllinders 1 and 2 are towards the front of the Vehicle... so on the Drivers side go 1357 and for the passenger side go 2468 hope this helps you out

also ive been told that if you go to a parts store they can print you out a diagram, and have you tried getting longer wires? I know I had a problem with mine too, so even though I bought the set that didnt work Haha I had to go to autozone and get one wire and I bought the long one to make it fit right.. Farm and Fleet is no help either they will sell you anything and Napa only sells sets not single wires good luck

That's how i have them. In this order it starts to crank smooth then it dies/light dims, then it continues to crank rough. What the heck? This was only supposed to take 5 minutes! Argh.

I'm retarded. The way you said to do it is actually the same as crabtruck's diagram. Problem was even after reading your post I was doing it like this:
passenger 1357, driver 2468
intstead of:
driver 1357, passenger 2468

I'm an idiot.

Thanks so much for the help guys!
