S-10 exhaust

What happens if I cut the exhaust pipe after the muffler? Increased sound? How easy is it to cut out, or gut the catalytic converter?

you will not increase the sound if you cut the tail pipe off after the muffler nothing will happen but where your exhaust comes out at. a saw-zaw will easily cut the cat out. then have a pipe to put in place of the cat and use clamps to attach it to the exhaust system.

Oh, So I can just clamp a pipe back in place, it won't have to be welded? Thank you for your inputs
