2004 transfer case leaks

Apparently chevy put a case on my truck that is made of silver kleenex. They say to put JB weld on it fix???????????????????? how about any solutions from the forum, besides trade it in on Toyota or go back to my horse

Where is it leaking? Is it from a crack? If the case is brokem, then no amount of JB weld is gonna fix it, and besides that is just a rig job anyway.
If it is a seal, replace the seal.

they wear a hole/slot in case from pump

replace case half with updated case and wear guard

call gm cust service if that is your problem

Jimbo543 , you are right on the money. I was not aware gm would do anything for me, I will call them right now

has there been any official GM bulletin on the transfer case problem? Gm seems to can't find anything about it and an estimated cost is 2500 american dollars to fix their stupidity.
