86 S10 carb injector problems

I have a 86 model S10 with the small v6 engine, the fuel injectors over the carb. the one on the right facing the engine sprays fuel, the one on the left doesn't, sometimes, I have hunted wire shorts etc.. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly, the second one does not begin to spray until you need it. like quicker accelerations or passing on the freeway, it will dump more fuel under certain conditions. Otherwise, you would be using more then you need. At least that was how the carb injectors worked on my 84 olds I had. Are you having problems in the way the motor runs?

when idling if both don't inject the engine skips very bad, the same happens when you go down the road

Thanks

They should both fire. an old shade tree trick would be to wire them off of one side. then they would both fire and the truck wouldn't skip a beat, assuming of course the problem is a bad wire, not a bad injector.
