Hey everyone.. I have a 2000 Silverado Z71 Ext. Cab... I am have an odd problem with my left turn signal. When i turn the left signal on it works ok untill i press on the brake and then the turn signal stays on constant. Even if the vehicle is off, If i press the brake the left signal comes on, the light on the dash and the actual signal lights. any ideas or help would be great. thanks....

have you had anybody stand behind the vehicle and check your lights? the lights back there for the brake/signal has a high/low brightness level (dual filament) sounds like you have a bad bulb.

| And if that does not work, try the brake light sensor. It is located right on the brake pedal. I had the exact same issue with my S10. I thought I did it beating it up off road, and was afraid of what it was. Turned out to be a simple, inexpensive fix. Takes like two minutes to replace. Plow is probably right about the bulb itself, but if not, check there.

does your bulb sit in a cap that twists into place with no wires? i know some of them taillight assemblys have like a circuit board that gets messed up in them is why i was mentioning the bulb or the fixture.

if you have a trailer plug check for corrosion, could be comming back through there, also check connections at distribution block (lh side of frame under truck facing backwards on a crossmember near rear of truck, connections could be bad, there
