Shift Kits

Im looking for a good solid shift kit for my 96 4x4 K1500. I want something that will be nice and solid and be able to take a beating without costing me a new tranny. Does anyone have any good web sites or anything I could order it from? Thanks a ton.

b & d makes one for like 40 bucks...its a plug in and has three different shift settings. my friend has one in his 97 and when you set it at the highest setting it really slams those gears and its nice cuz you can set it back to stock by flippin the switch

i put in a trans go, and then took valve body and drilled the hole a bit bigger yet...

now when it slams into 2nd gear @ 4 1/2grand it lays black marks
but driving it normal within ranges it dumps pretty hard, but bearable nothing like at higher rpm.
70,000 miles like that and still runs today.
change the fluid and filter every 7k miles, and everytime, bright pink and no metal shavings and/or clutch material on the magnet.

gotta put in u-joints if you drive it crazy all the time

15 mins and 10$ is worth the smile
