signal noise, but blinker isen't on?

i got a 1998 chyanne. sounds like the blinker is on but its not.
also i got a loud buzzzzing sound coming from the drivers back. im thinking its the fule pump. anyone know whats going on? thanks

Welcome to the forum Mason.
The blinker noise is all the time when the key is on or in or when ?
Do both directions of signals work when you want them to ?
Do your hazards work ? Do your dash indicators act weird ?
Try pulling the flasher (blinker) from mounting and confirm that's where noise is coming from.
Of course double check that all your lamps in all their configuations of "on" are working right.
Regarding the buzzing from back, if it's present with the key on and engine off, should be easy to follow and locate.

yeah all the lilghts and signals work. its only on when i turn the key.yes the gas says full then half then empty then full it is acting weird for sure. plus it's driveing me crazy.

Sounds like you may have a loose ground, but tough to tell without a wiring diagram in from of me. Would be worth crawling around and in doing a visual and "wiggle" inspection. You might also want to pick up a chiltons and see what's common to your problems. Are you sure it's your flasher ? Other relays can make a similiar noise including one for the fuel pump.

intresting, mabie? im not 100% but it sounds just like the signal is on? mabie its not. because the fule guage is messed. i went to put gas in today i though i was 1/4 tank. but the pump only let me put in 5 bucks? i guess it was full.

Don't they have the natorious multifunction switch?? it can cause lots of headaches
