| door upgrade i am buying an 04 chevy 1500 w/t. it has manual windows and door locks. i would like to change the doors out and put in power windows and locks. is this possible? is the wiring for this under the dash? or is it out of the question? thanks |

| More than likely, you'd only need to replace the window regulator and door trim panels, and minor wiring - for the windows. The locks are a bit out of my expertise due to the keyless entry.. I'm not sure what relays and whatnot would be involved. That reminds me.. need to make a post.

| ok thanks. i just wasn't sure if the wiring was under the dash and i could just plug it in or what. i thought i would just find a set of doors in a junkyard and paint them and stick them on. i have to mix up some paint anyway to fix some scratches so it wouldnt be a big deal. |
