does you vehicle have abs? maybe its something do do with that system, or maybe your porportioning?balence system? im not too sure if it controls front side to side, but front to rear for sure, does the passenger front apply and release? an rear?

Welcome to the forum AKLAMIKE.
More info would be helpful. Seven different kinds of basic pickups in 92.
What model, size etc do you have? Does it have ABS or RWAL ? 4w or 2w?
Why did you replace the caliper in the first place ? symptoms??

Has the brake fluid been changed? If it never had leaks or major problem the fluid gets like molasses. When you bled the calipers did you do it till fresh fluid was present or just no air coming out? If the fluid is bad it takes a lot of pressure on the brake pedal to bleed it and then gets easy. This of course if you a a poor person like me and don't have a pressure bleeder sitting on the shelf

i agree with jarhead2001 people don't think about the rubber hoses that feed the calipers going bad. change both and bleed the hole system and your problem will go away

it could be a number of things. i would replace the rubber hose, if it's original. i would also check to make sure the slide pins are not siezed up and are well greased.

how does the rotor look? is one side worn more than the other? if the outer looks worn more than the inside, that would indicate the slide pins.the fluid would exit the caliper piston and the inside pad would disengage contact with the rotor and the outside pad would remain stuck to the rotor.
if the hose was bad, then the fluid would not be allowed to leave the caliper piston and both pads would be in constant contact with the rotor.

also, replace that rotor once you fix your problem. it is most likely glazed over, or warped and not capable of doing it's job any more. if it is still within spec. you may be able to have it turned.

Thankyou

Thanx for all the help,my truck is a 2wd 1500 silverado no abs yes the brake fluid was thick so I did bleed it till clean fluid squirted out the reason I replaced the caliper was because I could not get the piston to move at all, also I messed up the rubber boot when I took it apart.A new one was only $15.00 so I replaced it thinking that would fix the problem.I think I will replace the line and bleed um again hopefully that will fix it and then I will see about the rotor, again thank yall for the help,I need all the info I can get
