Sometime it starts sometime NOT!

Im having trouble starting my truck 1500 chevy sometimes. I have to get under the truck and wiggle the wire to the fuel tank. the next day it starts fine, hour later it won't start get under the truck wiggle the wires it starts. drive down the road it quits, under the truck again. Ive pulled the fuel tank checked the wires they seem fine Help!!!

You seem to identified the problem as electrical, pull the harness and look for an open.....a break in the wire within the insulation, probally caused by corosion. Make sure the ground is good. I think if i were going to pull it out i would look into a new harness.

what year is the truck? have you checked the ground going to the frame?
