Thumbs down Steering Wheel Rattle

I have a 2005 chevy silerado 4x4 crew cab silverado which has had rattle in steering colum since 10,000 miles. My local dealership has replaced intermitent shaft at least 5 times but has never corrected to problem. The only other part changed was a bearing in lower steering colum. The last time in shop GM told me this problem is not a safty issue and can not be repaired.Just want to know if anyone else has had this problem or cure for problem.I think GM should have to address this problem.

Call the 1-800 number in your owners manuel and talk to someone about it watch your local dealership will get it fixed once they hear from them write down the time and names of people you talk to keep a record of this problem maybe your truck can be considered a lemon if they can't fix it and they will buy back your truck.

It happened to me on this 92 GMC I had at one time I finally got attention when I went to talk to the owner of dealership that's where I bought the truck then to boot they left my door open my battery was dead and my seat was full of grease I left the truck there till the owner called me back and they did me right and put me in another newer truck with much more options.
