| Need a th350 expert I just bought a 4x4 74 Blazer with a 400/th350 combo... the trans just went out and i need to know if i can use a 2wd th350 with my old tailshaft and make it a 4wd th350. |

| I did not see this post first, is this what you needed to 2wd tranny in? Then geez, I guess you already have everything else needed for this.... Hmmmm, good luck. Hence, you can ignore the question I asked in the last comment I made on your other post. LOL.

| i would assume you could. but im not an expert but have done quite a few jobs like that but on ford trucks |

| More than likely you'll need to have the output shaft swapped as well. The output shaft of the 2wd tranny is too long and the splines don't usually go back far enough to allow you to just cut the excess length off. |

| Ditto to Whooley. You need to change the output shaft between them. won't work unless you do that.
