code p0410. secondary air intake malfunction

i just got my jimmy back from the shop. it had a new motor put in. it is a 2000 jimmy 4.3 4x4. i just got back from the store and on my way back the check engine light came on. so i got out the scanner expection the worse. but i dont even know what that means. i tried looking it up but all i can find is the description of what it is. where do i start to trouble shoot this.

i was doing some reading and some one said that code was a loose or bad gas cap
it also said that A.I.R pump system is the cause. may be a bad smog pump if you have one.
cross your fingers and hope it's the gas cap

doesn't that engine have a 2 piece intake manifold? that's where i would start.

it does have a 2 peice intake but all that was replaced. i have to change the fuel regulator anyway so maybe ill check my mechanics work out anyway. this is the first time i have went to this guy so i am curious as to wheather or not i got ripped off. 1800 isnt bad for swapping a motor and alot of parts right. it was only 900 to swap it but alot in parts cause someone really neglected this truck. im still ahead becasue i can sell it for 7000 in poor shape says kbb
