Dual brake reservoir, rear section is for rear brakes?

One thing I'd never rebuild myself is brake hydraulic components like master cylinders. Too much is at stake like my life. And I'd rather buy new brake components rather than a rebuild.

Is the rear section of the reservoir for the rear brakes?

Basically on your resevoir the section that has the largest capacity is for your front disc brakes, the smaller resevoir is for the rear drums, as they require very little fluid to activate, as compared to disc brake calipers.
