93 chevy fuel pump & tank drain question

where is the fuel pump located on a 93, 350cid engine? I need to gas tank and wonder best way to do it, can I use the fuel pump on the vehicle or what? Can't run tube into fill location as it stops with some kind of obstruction in tube, ideas???

what kind of "tube" are you using. a nice 5 to 7ft piece of 5/16 or 3/8 rubber fuel line should fit in the filler tube, I use an old piece of air compressor hose myself and it goes in every gas tank I've sucked gas out of.
are you familiar with running a plumbers "snake" try twisting the hose until it goes in the hole at the bottom of the filler tube.

all fuel pumps on 87' and later GM full size trucks are mounted in the gas tank

or you and a friend with a floor jack and a piece of wood undo the straps lower it a little to get to the hoses and wire to undo them then drop it all the way down.

just look for the wires that run into the fuel tank all you need is the power and then you can run it all day. but it will take for ever though.
