Welcome to the forum chevyrder.

Also some penatrating oil where drum meets hub will help,
like wd40, liquid wrench, pbblaster or anything "such as"
The hammer is as much about vibration as it is about force.
Another thing some have success with is loosening lugs,
then roll truck and hit brakes. Good luck and post back.

you have an access hole on your baking plate. use a screw driver to move the star adjuster, to back your shoes off of the drum. if they haven't been serviced in a while, the shoes could be wore into the drums and you have a groove holding them on.

Unless it's like my truck (94) which does not have rear access holes. Stupid design.
Course we have no idea what truck ... unless it's the 2005 silverado std cab from profile.

i have done all those and if one thing doesn't work try something else. i had one on a 87 z24 cav. and wd40 hammer did not work. so i used a heating torch and hammer to get them off.

some drums have those stupid little clip washers on the studs that hold the drum in place make sure those are off and also make sure the parking brake isn't binding up or the pedal isn't pushed in.

if all else fails get more WD-40 and a bigger hammer
