 | 1996 Z71 I have a 1996 chevy Z71 pickup and I notice a lot of water dripping from my muffler. Does any one know why this is happening and what is causing it. thanks |

| Water is a byproduct of combustion. If you make a lot of short trips, more is likely to drip out because the exhaust doesn't get hot enough to evaporate the water that has condensed in the pipe/muffler. Many mufflers have a weep hole for that reason. My 97 GMC 5.0 and 92 Chevy 7.4 both have water come out when I make short trips around town. |

| 1996 Z71 Thanks for the quick feed back; I do make a ton of short trips throughout the day. |
