87 chevy burb cranks over but won't fire up need help please...

I have a 87 chevy suburban 5.7 350 motor, today ran it dry by accident previous owner said 40 gallon found to be like 25 gallonish also gas gauge lied. After replaceing fuel tried to crank it over will crank no fire no fuel injectors firing. Pulled line off of outlet side of fuel filter and turned over gas was flowing well. Tightend cracked injector line at manifold turned over got gas. Checked for spark, no spark, 12 volts to coil nothing out, installed new coil, still no spark, installed new ignition module in the cap and re test still no spark. Checked fuses, wires, connections etc. now severly lost. Engine will turn over but no spark! Had it towed home to the cost of $415.00 because it stranded me about 1 1/2 hrs from home. Anyways I've done what I know and nothing is working... is it true that the tbi's are triggered through the module and the distributor? what about the p/u coil in the distributor would that cause it? Any help is apprectiated as now more the wiser or not! and less wealthy. Thanks to all !!

Check for spark at the coil wire to cap. The only thing that makes NO FUEL NO FIRE is the oil pressure switch, It will shut off both at the same time. Make sure it in not unplugged or broken. Some are under the distributor at the back of the intake and some are above the oil filter, and some are in both places.

if you ran it dry maybe the comp has to be reset. take the negitive batery post off and leave it off for a min. then try to crank it. it has gotten me home before. so its worth a try

Chevy, remember your problem with no voltage to the Injectors?
You may have a bad circuit somewhere, wether it could be the following
Ignition switch, bad fuse terminals.
Power to the coil and injectors goes to the Key switch first then to the fuse panel.
