| Front End Noise. Wheel Bearing? I have a 2003 1500 series Suburban 4x4 with the 5.3L engine. I have a new noise that I need some advice on. The noise is a "moan" consistant with vehicle speed. It sounds like it's coming from the left front wheel. If you turn to the right, the noise goes away. If you turn to the left, the noise is the same or maybe a bit louder. I rotated the tires just to make sure that wasn't the problem. My best guess is the left front wheel bearing. I've had bad wheel bearings on other cars in the past, but the noise is quite different. However I don't have much experience with a 4x4, and I'm sure the noise is not the same as a two wheel drive. Any suggestions? Anybody experience this noise on a similar vehicle? |
