| to me its not worth it its a 2 wheel drive truck and its old and needs work. im sellin my 98 for 3500 because the sellers market for trucks right now is way down. |

| True true true, with gas prices right now, trucks are a luxury, not a need anymore.

| Typical example of why you should never put more money into a vehicle then it is worth unless you plan to never never never get rid of it..... OR be willing to take the loss.

| yea 2 grand for a motor that I cant hear run sounds like a scam is the first thing I'd think of, he should really put the fuel pump cap and rotor on so it runs at least, you'd have a way better chance selling it. I'm not accusing you of running a scam. as a potential buyer if you told me you just put $3500 into a motor that didnt run i would instantly think the rebuild got done by a novice mechanic and the motor was full of problems. a fuel pump, cap and rotor is no more than $50 at any parts store and simple to install he should really consider getting these parts to make it run. IMO your going to play helll trying to sell a truck with a nonrunning rebuilt motor and it needs to have the tranny swapped. that sounds like way too much work for that price.
