| Need Help with my 87 Chevy V10 Stepside I have a 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 10 series, I got fenders and doors from a friend of mine because the ones on my truck are rotting away. However, I'm not sure if they will fit it. I think they were off of a 1989-1990 chevy. Will they fit?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.... |

| it really depends on what kind of chevy they were from. i to have a 87 chevy c10. i have an 89 suburban front end on mine. i didnt do the swap but the hole front end is off an 89. rad support and all. it may work for you. if your front end ilready rotted then it really woudnt hurt to try. i have an 87 front end in good condition if your interested. im in area code 19054 here is a link to pics of the swap 95maxxedout - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting |

| Thanks. Thats a real nice truck you have. The frame and supports and all that is solid, its just the cosmetic stuff, like fender shells, and the outsides of the doors, etc. And, its not a major deal if the parst i do have don't fit, seeing as how they are perfect, no dirt, rust or rot and i only payed 50 bucks for them, i could probably make a good penny for them on E-Bay. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope i can make it work.... |

| 88'-98' pick ups have the same body style which is different than the 87'. the suburban is the only exception they ran the old 73'-87' body style until 90'. so if your fenders came of a 89' or 90' suburban you should be alright but if they came off a 88'-98' truck then you just have useless sheet metal and need to sell those and get the right ones
