| Keyless Remote Thru Cell Phone Has anyone ever tried this? My wife read on the net the other day that if you lock your keys in your car and it has keyless entry, that if someone else has a remote to your car and you call them on a cell phone that they can unlock your door thru the cell phone with the other remote. |

| Never heard of that I don't know how it would work maybe like dial 1 before you press your garage door opener when in another state and it will open your garage door at home by going though long distant. Just kidding about that. I have done this before when batt is low on remote or your to far from truck/car hold it up to your chin and press remote it will work better or travel longer the signal I mean. |

| yea I actually locked my keys in the truck when it was running the day after I heard about the cell phone thing so I called my girl with the spare clicker. from my cell phone and had her click away and it didn't work so I thought maybe it was because I was on the cell and she was on the house phone so I had her call me on my cell from her cell and it still didn't work

| It doesnt work, the remote creates a signal which the cell phone cant reproduce.

| you know what works really good for locking your keys in your car?? i have to open cars on a regular basis and the easiest way that i have found to open one is to get your lazy butt up and make a spare that is located in your wallet or on the vehicle somewhere. |

| Haha, hide-a-keys, my brother had one on his 84' Bronco that he forgot about when he abandoned it in my dads driveway. Needless to say I spent that summer cruising around in his machine.
