FuelMaxx control module

Was combing through ebay and found this chip that is quite cheap and claims to improve fuel mileage, torgue and horsepower and reduce emissions. Heres the URL for it- eBay Motors: Gas Saver Chip Chevy Truck 1500,2500,3500 1996-2006 (item 380029848070 end time May-27-08 21:55:05 PDT)

Was wondering if anyone has tried it or heard anything about it. It would pay for itself quick, I'm just worried its a flop or is going to hurt my engine in the long run. . any info is much appreciated.

hmm... I don't know. I would be awful leary about that one.. I guess it would be worth a shot, if it doesnt work you are only out 30 bucks..

I'd be worrying if it does any harm to your vehicle

they dont work for ****. i have one and all it is is a lil black box witha resister in it. doesnt do much of anything really

If it worked so well everyone would have one these days. I would even buy one for my weedeater.
