| 08 Silverado Exhaust upgrade 5.3L I just bought a 08 extended cab 4x4 with the 5.3L. I have been debating on what exhaust to put on it. I was thinking of a borla, SLP, or magnaflow stainless cat back system, but then i heard some youtube clips with some flowmasters super 40's and super 44's, and the truck sounded amazing with them on. I just want to get some opinions on what i should put on my truck. I want it loud as possible but with a DEEP loudness. Also what air intake should i get. Thanks alot |

| It doesnt matter man, Just buy the system you like and go for it. Its preference so your is the only one that matters.

| yeah but what system do you think is the best for sound and cost. all the cat back systems i want are like 800-900 bucks, but i am leaning towards getting the super 44 series flowmaster and dualing it out that will only cost me 400 dollars. thanks for the help |

| Would you go with the super 40 flowmaster single in/dual out or super 44 single in/dual out. I want the deepest loudest sound with the best performance. I am gonna go split rear, what size tips should i get. Thanks |

| i have a question for you. does your truck have that cyl drop off?? go from 8 cyl to 4 cyl.? if so then you will really hear it on the highway. but when all 8 are hitting any system will sound good.

| I just got my true duals and i went with flowmasters. Most people with chevys like the way flowmasters sound best. i got 3 and a half inch angled tips. If you want it realllly loud run straights.
