 | 93 Full Size Rattle I have a 93 chevy full size with a 350 and 5 spd, when i disengage the clutch and im in neutral, something rattle, i dont think there is anything loose under my truck, but i also get a rattle sometimes when i start out in first gear, any thoughts, thanks

| I have a 96 Sierra and I have what I think may be a similar rattle. Mine rattles only when the truck is in drive and the brake is applied, e.g. waiting at a stoplight. Once in motion or placed in park, the sound is gone. I used to have an older truck that had the same sounding rattle as the truck I have now, and it turned out to be a harmonic balancer. I'm in the same boat as you though, and I have no idea. |

| you could have a problem with your input shaft. I have a 1992 and had a smiilar noise and eventually the trans went out. if it is the same thing you have a bad input shaft cluster |
