need help on tires.. Well its about that time to get new tires on my truck, but I was wondering how it would look to have 33x10.5x15 tires on 15x10 rims. because right now I have 33x12.5x15 on 15x10 on right now and they look cool, but a killer on my wallet on gas... I was wondering how it would look with 33x10.5x15 on 15x10. so any could you please post a pic of them.

IS this a trick question? 2 inch narrower tires will probably look two inches narrower than what you have now. Might leave a little too much sidewall exposed making the tire look a little too skinny on that wide of a wheel I kind of dig the combo on 8" wide wheels, but have seen them on a wider wheel. They do buldge a little too much for my taste, but that is just one mans opinion. Now as far as this being hard on the wallet, I do not see too much difference in price, and there cant be a great deal of difference in mileage from added resistance, so I am a little confused by this. You know you could ask the tire shop to mount one side for you so you could see how they look before you buy new sneakers for your truck. My tire guy has installed plenty of tires for me,so I could obtain the look I was after. I mean if it is simply up to one size or another, they do not really have to be balanced or anything at first, and a couple of tires are a snap to mount. Sure they could do you a small favor so you can get an idea of how your ride will look, before you shell out the dough for smaller tires.

I have to agree they will bulge out on the sidewalls way to much for my taste too. If you think you'll save on gas. I wouldn't bank on that, most of the time it is the height of the tire that will get you. Especially only 2 inches narrower.
