have you checked to make sure your filter has not gotten plugged up?? in park, can you rev the engine without it dying or does it do it only at takeoff??

check fuel pressure. might be a busted pump that cannot keep enough pressure up to keep the injectors working.

a tps malfunction would throw a code as well as make it do crazy things in and out of gear. what kind of pressure do you have right now?? injector problem might be there but doubtful since it ran fine before. why did you end up changing the pump in the first place??

Brad's got the next step for sure. Find out what the fuel pressure is now. In troubleshooting fuel pressure problems, people often attach a gauge and duct tape it to the outside of the windshield so they can see it under various loads.

EDIT: Disregard the 35psi and 45psi numbers in the next line. Sneaky's post below explains why.

If the pressure is ok at idle (35psi or so) and doesn't increase with RPMs (45psi or so) then the little diaphram in the fuel pressure regulator is done.

Fuel press on a 95 is only 12 psi max. It a TBI.
