 | just a question about brakes I have a 98 c1500 and want to convert to rear disks. What years came factory. ive looked at a lot of 98's and did not see any. i have seen them on 99's and up. will they fit or not thats the question. |

 | You will drive yourself crazy trying to find another late model rear axle, and swap all of the necessary components to convert your existing axle to disc brakes. Shop here: G.M. 6 Lug 10 & 14 Bolt And your worries will be over. *Note* There are two different size flanges for 10 bolts, so make sure you get brackets for the correct one. Failure to measure first will result in a bracket that will not fit. I have yet to find a kit that is as complete, or easy to install as these kits. |
