I took the front left inside fender out of my truck and noticed that there is 2 flat green wires bolted to the fire wall right below the ac lines.One goes to the back of the motor between the motor and firewall and one grounds out to the frame and idea what they are for?I also noticed that the manifold? where the exguast pipes start at the heads the bolt closest to the firewall dosen't bolt into anything same on the other side any idea?

they are grounds. they prevent excesive engine noise in the sterio and stuff like that. if they are green then it might be a good idea to clean them up alittle and use some rattle car paint on them to prevent anyfurther sorrosion
