| Engine swap I have a 87 with a 350 and automatic. I can get a low mileage 350 from a 94. Will this motor bolt up to the tranny in the 87 with no problems? |

| Welcome.... Ditto. Go for it. As a personal preference, I always recomend to grab the ECU module from the '94 to stay on the safe side, and while the motor is out, clean it, and replace the major gaskets, seals and the water pump before you install it. BUt those are just my personal preference.

| I agree with JR. any one that takes the time and energy to pull a motor should replace all the seals, after power washing it and then rattle can paint it chevy orange or whatever floats your boat. It costs less than a hundred to get a complete rebuild gasket set for any smallblock chevy maybe 15 for some paint and the rest is just time. it is a comforting thing to know you wont be pulling the motor to do a rear main seal anytime soon.
