| How big can I go? I looking into getting new tires not sure what kind to get? I own a 1500 Silverado 4x4 and i'm also going to tightin the torsion keys an 1" or so that plays a factor in what I can fit in the wheel wells. Another factor is I drive twice a year back in forth from south carolina to New york for college. Any suggestions? Size? Type? I thinking BF Good. All-terrains, but I want something that looks a little bit tougher plus I need something for the snow ! |

| what year is your truck? i have mastercraft courser M/T's. they are 285's and don't rub at the trucks stock height, just had to remove a small chunk of trim from behind the bumper to keep the tires deep lugs from ripping it off when turning. Suggestions for off road tires? ![]() ![]() ![]()

| those are nice rims mud. i have the nittos on mine. they seem to wear good and make very little road noise considering the size lugs on the tire. might i suggest against playing around with the torsion keys?? this is an ongoing subject on this forum. |

| they're a little to bling for me but at least i got the black and machined metal look i wanted. as for the tire size, i still think 285's are the biggest you can go with out a 2" lift at the minimum.

| Bradrhale what do you suggest I should use (instead of tighting the torsion keys) if the budge is tight with just really wanting to get the tires or a really nice set!? |
