engine bucks when accelerating

I have a 1993 chevy 305. The engine idles great, and runs good when at cruzing speed. Also it dont bog down when i punch it to pass. But when i am taking off from a stop till cruzing speed it bucks and sputters. Also when i put it in gear and hold the brake and give it gas it boggs down. Have changed fuel filter, plugs, checked distributer, and o2 sensor is about 4 months old. Any help is appreciated

Have changed plugs and wires now still no luck. It seems a little worse. Will die sometimes when you put it in gear. feels like its loosing power and missing when driving.
p.s. what do you mean by throwing codes? not a ace mechanic just know the basics lol.

The engine might be able to supply enough fuel to compensate for a vacuuleak at full throttle, or large stabs of the throttle. It may not be able to monitor the fuel correctly to compensate for a vacuum leak under minimal loads. Problem getting worse might indicate that the vacuum line, where the leak is was moved, and maybe created an even greater problem.
An engine that dies when placed into gear is also a decent indication that you have a vacuum leak.
Verify the intake, and all vacuum lines or hoses are in good condition. Do not overlook the large fitting at the brake booster, or the booster itself.
Good luck.
