The tires do wear out at 55,000. Mine did. Mine is an 04 with 60,000 flat, 2wd of course, but I can't stand the 13mpg from the 6.0. It doesn't have the Allison but it doesn't matter whether a trailer or not it still gets 13 mpg.

That's a nice lookin' truck there. Only nitpicky thing I'll point out is the missing wheel cap on the front wheel, just had to put a new one on mine.

I'm curious about tire wear myself. I've only got 9000 miles on the rig so far so It will be awhile before I'll know how tire wear goes. Beerstud.. can I call you BS for short? lol.. (kidding)
Have you tried auto trader? Some good deals show up on there from time to time. I'm really enjoying my 2500 but the gas mileage is painful. Luckily it's my second car so it's not such a big deal. Eventually I'll pay attention to the miles when I fill up but for now it's ignorance is bliss. I haven't been watching the miles, just watching the the gas needle go down faster than it maybe should. (My right foot doesn't help either)
