Welcome....
Well, do not quote me, but I am almost for sure that the 5.7 will not line up to your transmission. If you had the 4.3 it would. So you may need the tranny too. As far as will it fit in the engine compartment? Well, anything is possible. The motor mounts will not line up so there will be some fabbing to do. it could be a fun project for sure.... but do not expect it to be easy....

As for the gears, you may need to change them, depends what you plan to use the motor for. If you are going utilize the power of a 350, then you may need a whole new rear end. You will definitely need to replace shocks and the drive shaft to compensate.... I am sure you will find even more stuff that needs looked at.... If you are just looking for a little more power though.... perhaps finding a blazer with a 4.3l would be the less expensive way to go. A little yes fun, but more practical. IMO.

what about tring to rebuild the 2.8 it has a slight knock just before it shifts into the next gear thats why i am looking for a new power source and the 350 is had to beat at free i just dont know if it is just wore out but it seems as if the 2.8 has no power at all

it would cost less to install a used or rebuilt 2.8 from a bone yard then trying to rebuild that motor. Depending on what is wrong of course, but it sounds like the motor is done.... If the 350 is free, can you get the tranny with it?

Are you in a position to get a new vehicle? Perhaps making a trade with the 350 for a 2.8l.... Not my first choice but may still be free. I just see the amount of work you will need to do to make the swap compatible, harness, ECU, mounts, tranny and mounts, exhaust, cutting, fabbing.... just seems to beg the question, is this Blazer in good enough shape, no rust and stuff, to warrant this kind of a project? I would figure a used motor would run ya about 300 bucks or so, and there would be a lot less of a headache to install it. Just what I am thinking though.
