I will make that suggestion to my bro about the K&N and Flowmasters. I am sure speed makes a big differance if you are going 60. Believe it or not, I can tell a differance in fuel mileage from 72mph and 75mph. We also forget, more speed = more wind resistance and to be at just the right RPM for maximum fuel efficiency depending on engine timing, igniton timing, cam dimensions and gear ratios.

Don't forget about octane levels. I run 92 octane. At 87 I see a reduction in mileage as well as performance. Let your bro know too that with changing the exhaust, to have a tech set up the emissions cpu for the type of exhaust he is running.

10-4 Thanks for the info. I was aware to reprogram the PROM Chip in the ECM when you make changes to the exhaust. Should probably be done for even on the K&N air intake too or it would give funky readings to the MASS air flow sensor and even possible I guess for the MAP sensor too. Give all kinds of funky reading and send out bad instructions to the engine timing and a/f mixtures and hurt fuel mileage rather than help.
