| 1988 chevy g-20 van starting problem Having problem starting van? I think a little water got into the gas tank. Put two cans of dry gas and five gallons of fuel. Van starts for a minute then stalls. Van will not stay running what could be wrong? It a 350 with fuel injection. Thanks! John |

| Could be many things, but since you mention a fuel issue. I would change the fuel filter. Unlike a carbed motor that will run on 3lbs of fuel pressure or run like **** at even less, your TBI (Throttle Body Injection) needs in at least the teens of fuel pressure to open the injectors. Multi-Port injection starting in 96 models needs even much more than that. Just a guess and option to try. Good Luck |
